Slapfest07
...Rumor has it that Leon Hart was spotted in Richmond last Saturday, and Thursday in Richmond...word is he has an interest in who gets the EKU job in the next few weeks. He has great support in Ashland, but his son is a student at EKU, so coach may want another round with the Colonels?
Ram
Hart going to EKU would not surprise me. I thought about it, but did not want to stir the pot. I wonder if it will happen.

Ram
As what?? OC?? QB coach??? Maybe, the OC and DC at EKU are up for the job, and possible Hart would take the OC or DC job, if one of those are vacated to fill the HC job. Still, it would appear that five candidates have emerged as top contenders to become EKU’s new head football coach — current defensive coordinator Donn Landholm, current offensive coordinator Linwood Ferguson, Georgetown College head coach Bill Cronin, Bowling Green University wide receivers coach Steve Bird and Wake Forest defensive coordinator Dean Hood. Former Boyle County High School coach and current University of Kentucky assistant Chuck Smith is being heralded by one central Kentucky newspaper as a top-notch candidate, still he is certainly does not appear to be in the running. Larry Marmie, a defensive assistant with the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks, and Leon Hart, the current head coach at Paul Blazer High School in Ashland, also have drawn some attention, but don’t seem to be serious candidates either. http://www.championshipsubdivisionnews.com/?title=candidates-for-eku-job-emerging&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=

happy ol' dad
I will help him pack his stuff, rent the U-Haul myself and even drive it down there for him... But seriously, he had told some people a couple of days ago how excited he was about the upcoming season at Ashland....
yahoo83
Coach Hart is a very good football coach but they did go 2-8 last season. I believe his heart is in college coaching and probably should go back if the opportunity happens. Ashland has way too many good athletes to go 2-8 any year. Plus lose to Raceland two years in a row and Pikeville this season. Those are two great programs but single A and Ashland shouldn't lose to those schools anytime. FB15G8
Dean Hood from Wake will be the next coach... Hood may consider him as an assistant, but I still don't see it happening.
