That supports what I am trying to say, as a Coach and former QB 12 years worth it takes a certain type kid to make a good QB... I am not saying that Sullivan is not that type but all Coaches will agree that one key factor in being a good QB is EXPERIENCE at least your JV QB played 8 games behind center and from what I saw he even got a little time in 1 or 2 Varsity games and his father told me that he has played QB since he was 6 years old that my friend is called EXPERIENCE....:thumb:

I put my trust in Coach Poynter who has been a HEAD coach of a high school program for six years or so and had prior to that served as assistant coach to several programs, including one that one a state championship. This is far different from coaching youth league or middle school. I am confident that Poynter will make the BEST decision for the team on who will serve as quarterback.

Why not? There are a ton of folks on here that know about the Raiders

I would assume that the Trimble Co. QB position will not be decided on BGP.

I would hope that no starting position is ever determined or decided by BGP...:thumb:

From a Defensive point of view, I would rather see a young QB, than a Playmaker....A difference maker with his hands on the ball every down will cause problems for the opposing team...This is just my 2 cents, Poynter will make the decision.....

Which of those "more lucrative and prestigous programs" have tempted him with an offer?:confused: Of the half dozen (give or take) I saw his name referenced to on BGP he must of had his pick and chose none of them:creepy::scared:

Everything that you read on BGP is not always correct. The rumors that Poynter is leaving have been going around since he got there. Alot of them have been started by people inside the school that are jeolous of the success that the Raiders have had. Poynter will proudly be the Trimble County football team head coach in 2008. :ylsuper:

Never said it wasnt a great job just stating facts he is a talented Coach and sometimes Bigger $ and Bigger programs steal the Cream away from the crops so to speak.:thumb:
