That's Pat Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Look for the Wildcats to pull off the big upset, They have better guards and better athletes. Newport will be ready and if they play as a team they will pull this one off. N-56 NCC-52
That's Pat Posted January 11, 2008 Author Posted January 11, 2008 These type games are set up for the upset! If Newport turns the Housley kid loose NCC does not anyone to stop him, and the Cats defense will be to much for the Bred's little and young guards.

Darnell IMO cannot stop him. I would think we'd see a good match up between Housely and Beiting with Bieting being more physical and Housley being more athletic will be interesting. Pangallo should have his way up the court, quickness will be to his advantage on the breaks. Not sure who they'll put on Lipscomb but he'll get his 15 or 20 and if they focus on him Connor could drop 20. Newport tends to get frustrated and take themselves out of games. I think NCC comes out on top by 10 hitting FT down the stretch!

happymeal Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 The last couple years there's one thing NCC does not do, hit free throws. That's amazing! Who's going to the line? Certainly not Lipscomb, Connor, Meyer. I haven't seen any NCC stats in the paper but you'd think those guys would be up there????
Qryche11 Posted January 11, 2008 Posted January 11, 2008 Newport lost to Lloyd and Holy Cross I think whipped them. I am taking the Breds by 8pts.
