No way UK makes the NCAA tournament this year

Featured Replies

Those averages are padded as they either disappear at key times or appear turning the ball over too much or taking inappropriate shots. Both Billy G and Bradley said he was a key reason to the UL defeat on Sat despite him scoring well.

What does it say when your POINT GUARD is averaging more rebounds than assists? Neither of them make their teammates better. And they are not going to win games on their own. Not to mention both are HORRIBLE on defense.

I would love to know how many points and assists per game the person that them two are guarding is averaging per game.

Patterson turns the ball over just as much as Bradley, why are people not bashing him?

Bradley leads the team in steals, and is 3rd in defensive rebounds a game..

Actually, alot of times a team can get hot and the selection committee tends to forget those early season debacles. I'm not saying that UK will do that by any means, but if they get hot and finish up with 18 wins, they would get an invite, IMO. That would probably need to include at least two wins in the SEC tourney, though.

It's hard to forget a HOME loss to GARDNER-WEBB..

Look at who handles the ball more compared to their turnovers. Bradley and Crawford has the ball in their hands a lot more.

AND Patterson is a freshmen who will make freshmen mistakes. The other two are supposed to be playing like seniors.

Seems like you forgot the home loss to San Diego, too.

And that too. I don't see them "forgetting" those L's...

Its not that hard to forget when you realize they had key injuries and a new coach. I'll make 18 games the magic number. If they win 18 games, they're in. I don't know that they will do that, but I think they can.

That is true, but Patterson does shoot just as much as Bradley and Crawford. Which means he has the ball in his hands quite a bit as well. Those two do handle the ball more than anyone else, but I'm just saying. I don't understand why people bash Crawford and Bradley, because if UK didn't have those two, this year would be 10 times worse...

The really sad thing is, if you really look at it. You really can't blame injuries for losses to those three teams you mentioned. Against Gardner Webb Meeks played, and we still lost by double digits. Even if Jasper plays I dont think it makes any difference that game because we got dominated. For the Houston game, Meeks played all game long, but well once again even in that game having Jasper probably dont help get us a win. Then the San Diego game, we had both of them and we still lost. There is only one game this year, that we can maybe blame on injuries for losing and that is the UAB game. Because if we have a healthy Meeks and Jasper, I dont think we blow that big lead and let that one guy just completley go off on us. So honestly we really should stop using injuries as an excuse for this team, it really has only cost us one game that we could have won. This team is just a flat out bad team right now, and coach Billy G is not doing that good of a job coaching them at the moment...

Read that post. Injuries have had little to do with this..

So you like Bradley and hate Patterson. You hate UK but you watch every game. You confuse me Buzz :creepy:

Can't see it Wireman. 18 wins and two home losses to San Diego and Gardner Webb, two teams that probably won't finish over .500. Can't see it.

What does have to do with that is a new coach trying to transform players to his system when they weren't ready to be transformed. His true test will be whether or not he can get everyone to stay on the USS BCG.

NIT maybe. CBI will ask. Would they take either one?

What would their record be with 18 wins? 18 and what?

You have to assume that if they win 18, they would have some quality wins along the way - Florida, Vandy, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Arkansas - they woudl have to beat a few of these teams to win 18.

I don't hate UK, I am just not a fan. I do watch every game, but I don't like them. I didn't say that either. I just don't see why UK fans bash Bradley and Crawford all the time. If those two were not on this team, then Kentucky fans would love to have a 6-7 record because without those two it would be a whole lot worse.

To get 18 wins in the regular season? If so they would have to go 12-4 in the SEC, and that would put them at 18-11. I just don't see that happening..
