you dont think winning by 5 td's was good enough? why not atleast run the ball especially when they did it with ease and eat time off the clock. coming out with 4 wide outs throwing down field is a bit bush league if you ask me.

 

As long as it was the second team, thats fine with me. I didn't watch the game so I don't know if it was or not, but Hawaii thought they should be there, they should have proved it by stopping someone. Did it bother you that USC kept running the ball when they could have easily taken a knee? They were just proving a point, that being that they are IMO either the best or second best team in the country.

Hawaii's embarassment had a lot more to be with their vaunted offense being held about 40 under their average until the TD at garbage time? Am I the only one that would have benched Brennen earlier--The backup looked to have a lot more zip on the ball? I think Brennen might have been hurt, as he virtually never tried anything longer than a 8-10 yard pass; even on the rare occasion he had time?? IMO he's got no shot at the next level.

 

The Georgia defense did an excellant job of keeping pressure on him all game. Even when they didnt get to him he was trying to get rid of the ball asap. The hawaii offensive line was nomatch for the much stronger/faster Georgia defense. Colt Brennan had no time to look downfield. As far as the back up Qb.... he did look good and was able tomove the ball. Was it him or Was it due to Back up defense?

 

I think Georgia vs USC and Hawaii vs ILLinois would have been a better bowl game.

I understand if the 2nd team is trying to move the ball, i mean heck you cant roll over completely, but the starters played till the last 2 offensive series left in the game. the 2nd team went for it on a 4th and goal up by 4 scores, I think the right thing to do is kick a field goal and go on with it. Any one who watched the game knew by the 4th quarter Georgia was one of the best teams in the country no matter what the final score was. This was a david vs goliath anyway.... Hawaii is a good team but would have been a better match for upper top 25 team.

Colt Brennan 22-38-169-3 in 3 1/2 quarters, Tyler Graunke 13-19-142-1 on a couple of possessions. Understand your logic, but he wasn't coming close to getting it done, appeared to not be able to even TRY a mid-range to dep shot, etc. Just saying they might have wanted to try the other guy earlier in the 2nd half??

The first would have been, but the 2nd would have been slightly better, but still a mismatch. Hawaii just not equipped to handle the size and speed of a top major conference team. When you average 43 points a game and can only muster 3 for virtually an entire game--Wow, Troy even scored 34 on the 'Dogs--I could see 20-25, but not the total shutdown I saw last night??

My friend and I was talking about this earlier today and I totally agree.

I thought Georgia would win, but I thought the Rainbow Warriors would have put up a few more scores. Georgia, along with the Trojans, arguably the two best teams.

Who would be in the plus one game if there was one this year? To me USC, UGA, and WVU all looked great. WVU did it vs arguably the best opponent of the three. So if you were picking a team to play in the plus one game, who would it be.
