I just got my tickets and found out for sure I was going yesterday. What can I do for hotel arrangements? Tips/suggestions?

I'm sure that can get you started, I'm sure there are a few Super 8's around there or something cheaper if need be.

I want to be near the "action" if you know what I mean. Where do I need to find a motel near? What do I need to be close to?

Look from something in Brentwood. It is about 10 minutes south of Nashville. Take a cab to Broadway and take one back.

Everything is right there on Broadway...all the way down to 3rd street, I believe, then up 3rd to Printers Alley.

I have 2 extra tickets if anybody is looking for them PM me.

How much would a cab ride cost for 10 miles? 15 miles?

Not positive....mainly highway. Mapquest the distance.

Call the Nashville Visitors Bureau and ask if they have any packages or know of any open hotels.

Once you are on Broadway, everything is within walking distance.

You can walk to the stadium. THere is a pedestrian bridge across the Cumberland that takes you right to the stadium.

The hotel may even have a shuttle.

How many of you are going down....shouldnt be much to split a cab fare.

Well, the problem is that I'll be splitting it with my wife and that all comes from the same account, LOL. I'm not worried about getting to town, but I want to make sure we have a good, "safe" ride back to the motel (ala Billy Clyde).

I got a friend who is staying at a reduced rate in a Marriott I think in Brentwood.

I'll definately give them a call, but probably won't get to them until Wednesday. I'm leaning towards staying 10-15 minutes away and using the spare money for "fun" :thumb:

Im staying at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel its on Commerce Street. how close is it to everything? I know nothing about Nashville. Wireman I got ppl crashing at my place already or Id open the door.
