Anderson Co. 68 Gallatin Co. 59

Contest was close for 3 1/2 quarters before Anderson pulled away. Bearcats led 35-31 at half, 48-45 after 3, and 57-51 with under 4 to play. The lead got as big as 14 in the last minute.

After the big win over SK the night before I would have liked for the Cats to have had a couple of days to get ready for Anderson Co. It would had been a tough game either way but having two highly ranked teams on back to back days had to be hard.

Congrats to Anderson Co.

Couldn't agree more funtowatch!

Jones Boy's looked good tonight! Our Defensive Boys Brown, Henson, Carlton all worked hard but last nights game took their legs from them to early for this game.

Keep up the hard work GC!

Congrats to Anderson Co.

Of course you understand that to win the region, you have to play two good teams on back to back days, I'm sure.

That is true Sandman, but realize Anderson had a game on Tuesday. In the regional tournament they would also being playing back to back nights. I'm not taking anything away from the Bearcats just pointing out this fact.

I'm gonna have to agree with Sandman on this one.

Welcome to the site.

I don't think anyone disagrees with Sandman.

I don't know why some would talk about losing to a good Anderson team on the 2nd night of two consecutive tough games is not a good thing. Gallatin just got worn out as was evident by their shots falling short. Anderson is a good team and played a hard fought game. IMO you only beat a team like Anderson County once a season... I'll take a victory in March over a victory in December any day. :D

Anderson has a good team... and so does Gallatin. I posted in a different thread that Gallatin needs to come away with something more important than a victory this weekend. They needed to learn how far they have come as a team, and they needed to learn what it takes to get to the regional finals. I think they walk away from this game having learned about both.

The loss to Anderson County is insignificant in my opinion in comparison to the lessons learned. Congratulations to both teams.

Don't forget Anderson won on the 'road' and Gallatin lost at 'home' that adds to the loss as well.....
