Elliott: Evan Faulkner, Jonathan Ferguson(hit a 28 footer last night on a designed play against East Carter) and Tyler Maynard. Those are the best 3 shooters for Elliott, but I wouldn't leave Timmy Knipp, Ethan Faulkner or Chris Knipp open behind the arch either. Keith Center can also hit the 3 for Elliott. Sorry, I don't know much about Northern KY.

 

:thumb: Thanks for listing the names, I knew a couple of them but didn't want to leave anyone out. Elliot is LOADED with shooters, I wouldn't want to leave any of those kids on that team open..............(and they probably still would hit the shot with a defender all over them )

Like I said in an earlier post this is a stat question. Maybe wait until the stats become available for each region then ask again!!!

 

The stats won't tell you either, unless you are just looking at their 3pt percentage, which really doesn't answer your question.

I believe that this is a thread for peoples opinions and to give some kids praise & mention. - doesn't have to be exact, if someone would want to reasearch the stats then that is o.k. also and would be interesting to look at.

Tyler Portwood has to be one of the best in the state. He has hit 27 of 56 shots from long range. Shooting 48% from behind the arch. I think those numbers would put him near the top.

Definitely not say best in the state, and maybe not even NKY for that matter, but the best on Simon Kenton's squad is Jeff Slavey. I've seen him drill 10 straight from volleyball lines, and he's automatic from 3 point land, WITH HIS OFFHAND. Very impressive.

 

IMO: He is one the best shooters in the NKY area. He is shooting exactly 50% for 3 pointers and around 50% for all field goals, plus 90% for free throws. Can't ask much better than that.

Trevor Setty without a doubt, followed by Mr. Stenzel. The sleep.er is Mandella Rice.

Just imagine Maynard hasn't been hitting this year like he normally does & he is getting good looks. If he gets on there is another 9-12 points/game as I would say he's getting anywhere from 4-7 looks/game. He's probably a 45%-46% 3pt shooter for his career. He will not stay cold for long. lot of good shooters on this team.

Chris Owens is a good shooter too.

Corey Sorrell (Cov Holy Cross) Best shooter in NKY and top 5 in the state

Mitch Shover - Cov. Cath is a good one.

Sorrell is good but man he shoots alot???? Throw up as many as he does and you're gonna score afew???

 

Shover is ok but not near the top in NKY.

June Buchanans' three guards can shoot it as well, Clark Stepp, Clint Stepp, and Tate Cox!

Alex Hall-Beechwood is one of the top in state.
