I dont know where this thread went, so I will repost it.

Many people on BGP profess to stand up for Moral Decency on TV, yet these same people post how much they love wrestling, which is obviously devoid of morals. Does this make sense?

About as much sense as someone professing to be a Christian, then going out of their way to cuss you in a PM.:argue:

I understand both sides here. I am a Christian and I watch Wrestling also. I have voted and replied about the wrestling matches and see nothing wrong with it. Why does that make you a bad person???? You just have to understand this is not Reality.... Its just like movies... Its all made up.

So if you guys the one that started this thread and the first to reply are Christians, I have a question to ask you guys??? Do you watch Movies,Wrestling,Play Video Games, or Fantasy Sports????? Wouldn't most of these be void of morals. I will explain further if need be.

If you are a Christian, then why point out a problem you have with someone in a Thread and not just send them a PM....

But it has been Opened so lets see where this goes...

If you are a Christian why are you judging? Just a thought to throw out there. I'm not really directing it at anybody but something to think about.

I watch South Park. You won't hear me complaining about the lack of moral decency on television.:thumb:

Makes about as much sense as being for abortion and against the death penalty.

I figure since I live in a glass house, I need to be careful where I throw stones.

Well, I guess this is aimed at me since I am the leading South Park detractor and posted the wrestling threads.

I will pick up the stone thrown my way and address it.

When the diva parts have come on, I turn to another channel. When the wrestling part is on, that is when you will see me watching. And at that, maybe it is 2 hours per month and I look for certain characters, Shawn Michaels (who has used his position on WWE to talk about Christ when he returned. Even some of his merchandising has a Christian tint to it.)

I do really hate the way wrestling has changed to mostly sexual innuendo over the past 10 years and miss my wrestling from the 80's and very early 90's. I haven't watch a PPV since a mid-90's Royal Rumble that I received as a Christmas gift. Never got Wrestlemanias cause they were too expensive

The major part of my wrestling watching days came before I really had a relationship with Christ. So, I was in the world and the things that the world promoted and loved it.

Found Christ and realized what those things did to ME. Took my mind off those things that are important.

So, mostly when I talk of wrestling it was in those days that moral of decency, like on South Park, appealed to me.

If wrestling, as it is today, was removed from television, I wouldn't miss it.

I guess I could have made this post smaller in nature by stating.... that contrary to the way people think about Christians and quickly attack them when they do something that the FEEL Christians shouldn't be doing, I ain't perfect.

I don't watch wrestling, but I look at it as pretend acting entertainment, same as a John Wayne western movie.

We had a group of wrestlers at our school for a fund raiser around 10 years ago. I got a bigger kick out of watching the fans than watching the wrestlers. One wrestler was obviously using some fake blood after being 'struck' by a chain from his opponent, and I thought this old man from the audience was going to get in the ring. He was shouting at the ref, "Can't you see he's killing him with that chain! Can't you see that chain!??"

That makes perfect sense, One is a Human being that can live independent from another life form. One is not.

A fetus resembles a parasite by biological definition.

A fetus resembles a parasite by biological definition.

Can a day old baby live independently without the aid of another life form?

On the last sentence, wow!

Depends on how you define independent.

Depends on how you define independent.

Will they survive with no aid from another life form?

Like the fetus, do they need another life form to provide them with the things they need to survive?

  • Author

after it is born, then it is no longer a fetus, it is a human being, that needs to be taken care of. Before that, or atleast until the end of the phase in which abortion is possible, it is a fetus, not a human.

You didn't answer the question.

Is a 1 day old baby able to survive independently without the aid of another life form?

And legally, you are incorrect in your definition. If you kill a pregnant women in several states you will be charged with two murders and not one. So, at least one part of the law sees the baby as a baby.

That is my definition.

As to your question, it needs the aid of another lifeform.
