December 13, 200718 yr Author ^ He's OK at best, and I mean that truly. This was a no brainer, IMO. With Powell, Bolen, and Stripling getting the lion share of carries next year, there would be nowhere for Allen to go. Mix in some Dale Martin and Victor Anderson, and there simply wouldn't be enough touches to go around. I wish him the best, and hope he "wakes" up literally.
December 13, 200718 yr I'm not too surprised, however, It was puzzeling how a guy could rush for over 270 yards one game and barely get any touches in others. I think that some team will be very happy to get him.

December 13, 200718 yr Did they really preclude Arkansas? Stickin' it to Petrino! I can already see that in addition to Auburn, Arkansas will be added to the list of teams we won't want to schedule out of conference.
December 14, 200718 yr I don't think they will allow him to go to a school that is on their schedule for the next 3 years either. I remember the LHL and C-J ripping UK for possibly putting restrictions on Marvin Stone's release...will they do the same here?
