December 10, 200718 yr Author John - definitely the best opening chapter of any book in the Bible, IMO. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God..... I like it also. It certainly beats Matthew's opening and I LOVE Matthew. Don't throw my ashes out sea or anything because I do realize the importance of Matthew chapter 1.
