JMO, but Harang and Bedard are both better right now than Smoltz, Hudson, Glavine, Escobar, Blanton, and Dice-K. Haren, Sabathia, Carmona, Lackey, and Beckett are every bit as good.

I think trade Hamilton instead of Votto if you have the chance. Votto is just as good of hitter, younger, and we already have plenty of quality outfielders.

There is no way you can make that assumption based off the extremely small sample of ABs Votto got last year. Bottomline, you keep your best prospects, Cuerto and Bruce, and get rid of the likes of Bailey, Votto, etc for an arm like Bedard.
