December 1, 200718 yr I dont know if he is going or staying, but I do know one thing. He is one arrogant, intense football coach, and I like it! That press conference was intense
December 1, 200718 yr http://msn.foxsports.com/cfb/story/7512644?MSNHPHMA We already "marked it down" earlier, do we erase that and now "mark this down". I don't know what I'm supposed to mark down DARNIT. SOMEONE HELP ME!
December 1, 200718 yr This is two days in a row now he could have mentioned Michigan by name and denied interest. Point blank? He didn't... I wonder if he is friends with Billy Donovan.
December 1, 200718 yr Did the buyout on his contract maybe cause some problems. Michigan would not have paid that and it would have been on Miles. Does this along with an offer of propably about 1.8 -2.5 per year caused too much of a financial difference between what LSU is going to offer. GT keep the info coming if you hear anything. ( If it is Ferentz please do not post it as I would like to continue to enjoy my weekend) Will check back after work tonight.
December 1, 200718 yr After watching the presser, I have some doubts about it, but he definitely didn't deny anything.
December 1, 200718 yr I think he was just saying that because it got out early, I believe he will be the next coach at Michigan.

If they are going to give him over 3 million, I am with you in thinking UM will look elsewhere if asked to match...
December 2, 200718 yr "But I repeat what I wrote a few days ago: There are other coaches who can win big at Michigan. The idea that this was Les Miles or bust was illogical and absurd. Remember, Don Canham hired Bo Schembechler only after missing out on his first choice: Joe Paterno." Just got this quote from a Detroit News and Free press article. This sums things up to all Wolverine fans. I would loved to have had Miles, he is a great coach and would have been a perfect fit. Things do not always turn out certain ways for a reason. Whoever gets the job is getting the most prestigious job in America and we will again be " The Leaders and the Best" If Ferentz gets this job I retract all things I stated above. Shiano is now on my Christmas list!

I have heard no more than 2.5 This could be a major obstacle unless they are trying to get an up and coming coach like Kelly. (Not going to happen with what I am hearing.)
