November 25, 200718 yr Giants fall to 7-4 (3-3 at home) Vikings go to 5-6 Giants’ worst defeat since a 31-7 loss in Washington on Dec. 5, 2004 and their biggest loss at home since a 50-21 defeat to Washington on Sept. 19, 1999. Minnesota’s 41 points were the most allowed by the Giants at home since the Redskins’ 50-point outburst more than eight years ago. It was the most points given up by the Giants in any game since Sept. 24, 2006, when they fell in Seattle, 42-30. Four of Minnesota's touchdowns resulted from Eli Manning interceptions – the three returned for scores, plus another in which the Minnesota offense needed just one play to reach the end zone. First time in Giants history that an opposing team scored three touchdowns on interception returns. It was last done in the NFL on Nov. 4, 1984, when Kansas City returned four interceptions for scores against Seattle. http://www.giants.com/news/eisen/story.asp?story_id=26257 Go Cowboys!
November 25, 200718 yr So the Giants bounce back from the big loss to get a big win in Detroit. They follow that up with this egg at home. Strange, strange team.
November 25, 200718 yr They got 33 in my league... Nasty. 30 in my league, but any way you slice it, nasty is the right word.
November 26, 200718 yr The Giants played a horrible game. Lucky for them, many of the others challenging for the wild card lost as well. (Detroit, Washington, Philly etc.) It will be interesting to see how the Giants respond to this loss. It would be nice to see Derrick Ward and/or Brandon Jacobs get back in the Giants lineup.
