I don't think he is as bad as this year has been...probably learned a few things. IMO, this was shaping up to be a special year with Brohm returning and so forth...then a trainwreck which will likely result them being home for the holidays which is almost unfathomble from where they stood heading into the season.
November 22, 200718 yr I really do look at it differently. If Petrino were to have stayed Louisville would be in a completely different place right now, that I think, we all agree on. BUT, I think this year's disappointment, shows more proof at how good Bobby was, more than Kragthorpe's shortages. It's not that hard to look good with the best QB in the NCAA. He hasn't done squat to make Atlanta better this year but I give him a pass on that he went into a messed up situation.

There's also quite a big difference in coaching in the NFL and college. Petrino was easily one of the top 5 best offensive coaches in college football.
