To repeat one must first win. Looking at last week's Litratings, comparative scores over the season and roster injuries, most knowledgeable fans would put X, defending champion and unanimous preseason favorite Trinity, Manual, Male and Henry Clay in the roll of favorite.

As to next year, I do not know what other schools have returning, but based on underclassmen I would imagine X will be a serious comtender next year.

Regarding the topic of this thread, if X is 23rd or whatever nationally, T, Highlands and Bowling Green all must be in the top 50, at least by the Lit ratings. This week X was only a fraction of a point above T.

I agree. In additon, I would say that without a healthy Duece Finch Trinity and Manual would have to be slight favorites over X to win the title. I know this may annoy some of my X brethern. That's not to say X can't win state without a healthy Duece. It can be done, but the road will be more difficult. Any word on his recovery?

Ok I don't know if they were ranked or if they were ever ranked. U of L was ranked in 2005 but they are not ranked this year. I know that X is ranked this year, 2007. I know gas was $2.00 a gallon back in 2005 but that isn't 2007.

At the conclusion of the '04 season, X was ranked 23rd. I don't believe they were ranked in '05.

For St.X in 2005, which poll and on which date do you want to know our ranking? I'll look it up for you if it's important for you to know.
