Obviously KY Class A playoffs are no NCAA basketball tourney bracket, but if you're gonna pick the upset might as well pick it for the biggest dog in the fight? Yeah, it probably won't happen. Maybe I subconsciously just love Dayton's look and want to see them in person.

As a western Kentuckian, I'm sure you're familiar with this year's Mayfield team. Are they not good enough to go to Frankfort and win (assuming, of course, that they can beat Crittenden and Fulton City)?

I think Mayfield could win up there ... if the game was at Mayfield, I would be inclined to go with the Cardinals. But Frankfort's win at Danville with Fields on the shelf was pretty impressive, regardless of what happened last week.

 

Mayfield's loss to Fulton City was costly ... it cost them home-field advantage for four rounds of the playoffs, and Frankfort is a long way away.
