Boyd County is 2-2 against common opponents while Lawrence County is 0-4 against the same:

Russell, Breathitt County, Greenup County, and Rowan County.

However, Lawrence County won during the regular season...

By the way -- Coal Grove only played 9 games in 2007 so they were 7-2, not 7-3 -- the Daily Independent was wrong.

Lawrence County's non-district opponents were 60-9, not 60-10! Wow!

How is that? The regular season you played Russell and Breathitt and Pre-season you can only play 2 games, who were they and that is not the regular season totally different. You didn't play Coal Grove, Prestonsburg, Letcher, Sheldon Clark, Belfry so you didn't and couldn't play all of those teams too.

The five teams that were listed were:

Belfry

Breathitt Co

Russell

Letcher Co

Sheldon Clark

Boyd played Belfry and Letcher in preseason and played Breathitt and Russell during Regular Season.

BC has started to play a little run defense and been winning, not stellar defense but some. When they played LC,they were still letting anyone who wanted to run the ball do so.This may be a big difference in the outcome of the season game and the playoff game.

I was stating their NON-DISTRICT schedule in the REGULAR SEASON. Preseason games are for the most part are controlled and are not counted by anyone other than fans. Only common opponents were Russell and Breathitt Co.

Coal Grove did only play 9 games my bad.

I think it will be a very close game. I am just stating that during the regular season LC schedule has been brutal for any team but especially a team learning a new offense and a young QB.

I can't agree more, but I think with that brutal schedule LC has learned little while BC has had the chance to learn alot by playing within their teams limits. The only team that BC played that they were completely out of their range was Breathitt and they kept it close till the 4th, losing 34-13.

LC has some surprises in store for BC. I know about them and cant wait to see. HUSH HUSH NOW!!! :D

If they had something more that might work, they should've broke it out a few weeks ago before letting the boys get demoralized.
