Louisville @ West Virginia Thoughts/Predictions

Featured Replies

Cards go to Morgantown on Thursday night....I still don't think WVU's defense is anything to talk about, but I just don't see the Cards coming home with a victory. Still too many holes in the defense...

It'll be a much closer game than most are expecting, but I think ultimately WV wins by about a TD.

West Virginia 56

UL 28

I agree I think the Cards will only lose by 25 :D

Nope....can you name the last time Louisville was blown out....it isn't happening this year....Louisville may indeed win, but I expect them to be within a score.

UL's defense is a pinata and the opposing offenses have yet to put on a blindfold this season. 35-28 heading into the 4th and WVU tacks on the rest. Not necessarily a blowout though the final score will indicate such. ;)

^ I am not buying that. U of L is starting to get a little healthy again....WVU's defense is still very pourous against the pass......this will be a shootout and I am glad that U of L's gunslinger is one of the very best in the land. This defense is getting to the point where they can make plays...and in a game like this, it'll only take one or two. That said, while Slaton and White have started to turn it on, Louisville's defense has really started to get much more physical, and neither one of those boys like getting popped. Darius Reynaud is the X-Factor that scares me the most in this matchup/.

Ugly!!! WVU 49-14

^ HAHAHA.......not going to happen...bank on it.

I am looking forward to seeing UofL play WVU without the pressure this year. What do the Cards have to lose compared to WVU?

I won't be disappointed in a loss here but I just want them to keep it close if they don't pull off the upset. Rutgers and South Florida are very winnable games and I just want to see some good things from this team win or lose.

UL: Bowl Eligibility

WVU: Nat'l Title

Both will be playing for a lot.

I think WVU finally puts White,Slayton and Devine in the backfield together for one of the best backfields in college football history! Cards can't stop the pass but I'm not sure anybody could stop that trio running the ball and the play action off of it. I say WVU in a shootout!

Thanks for making my point. There should be no pressure on the Cards this year.
