stick1 Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Thank goodness! I REALLY didn't want to see a National Championship game with BC in it! They have had a great year and have a lot to be proud of but I really didn't want to see them in the big dance! Can we put to rest his heisman chances too now?
NEERFAN Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 Plain and simple the ACC is very average, I knew BC had no chance at running the table with their remaining schedule.
UKMustangFan Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 So this is setting up perfectly for another tO$U massacre at the hands of an SEC team....
Sportz Addict Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 So this is setting up perfectly for another tO$U massacre at the hands of an SEC team.... Glad you concede that joke of a team in Ann Arbor won't be considered for a title game. FL would have done the same to Michigan, probably score 20 or so more points last year on them. But getting slaughtered by USC was a nice consolation prize. Keep on driving that Carr!

If I was a UK fan, it would've been about how jealous I was of tO$U's success, but since I'm a fan of a team that has a better history than your team you use present time as a measuring point. Isn't that hypocritcal of your stance that UK is the greatest thing since sliced bread in basketball because of the history of the program? I mean if history doesn't matter in football, why should it in basketball? Why would Michigan be considered for the title game? They've lost 2 games this year, yet still have a great chance of winning the Big Ten. Florida would've beat up on Michigan last year too, because the Big Ten is a joke of a football conference anymore.

That's the only thing Michigan has is History... living in the past cause the present sucks... I know what thats about I am a UK fan and had to endure the Tubby reign. UK has great history and that's what I and many others fought to get a new guy in to add more titles to the already great history. At some point you gotta wake up though.. it's 2007, going on 08, the Carr has 2 flat tires.
buzzer beater Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 I thought BC would lose, but not to FSU. If I was guessing Ryan's Heisman hope is prob. gone. Which is sad because a lot of people are going to hate on the guy.

Which is sad because a lot of people are going to hate on the guy. I am going to hate on him, simply because of the media coronating him as great after a miserable 56 minutes against VPI, and then a prevent defense allowing him to win.....then this week, as he almost got into a rythm Musberger and Co...were again getting ready to start the Heisman jabber.....his Heisman shot is over...his #1 QB slot was never really there anyway... IFF Oregon wins out, Dennis Dixon has it wrapped. Which is amazing for a low profile left coast team.
RockPride Posted November 4, 2007 Posted November 4, 2007 You all ought to look at Ryan's stats....very, very ho-hum, IMO Matt Ryan's Stats
