Sorry if I missed a couple teams. I don't have a copy of a schedule in front of me. Any standout players on any of these teams?

Highlands 8th grade team should be strong. 3 girls at 5'9 or taller. Bracken is entering a 6th grade team also.

October 30, 200718 yr Does middle school in N. Ky play the same time as high school? :fight: yep. Many rural schools do not. They play fall ball and presently the top players are playing on the frosh/JV teams in the winter. Don't forget that Sports of All Sort is starting a new school league. I believe she lives in Boone County. Do you know where she'll attend high school? I believe she's an eigth grader this year.

I believe she's an eigth grader this year. There is a H. King @ Ludlow who is an eighth grade. She'll definitely be a factor for the program this year and for years to come. Is this who you are referring to?

November 5, 200718 yr Bracken County has a solid 6th grade team... They have several girls that can play.
November 7, 200718 yr Boone County middle schools will only play fellow Boone County middle schools, except for Grant County Middle School.
November 30, 200718 yr Anyone have anything new to add now that the season has begun? I just got back from the Newport/Holmes 8th grade game. This was Newport's season opener. Newport was able to pull of the win, but it was UGLY!! I think the score ended up being 35-24. Newport has a couple kids with raw talent, but they still have a lot to work on as a team. I look forward to seeing them improve as the season progresses though.
