Like JC76 said for geographical reasons (less travel), and let's be honest, how much competetion would they have if they played 3A?

Highlands right now is kicking the butt of Madison Central at Central...a 6A school.

Highlands would be 3A and Cov Cath I believe would be 4A.

If Ashland fields the kind of team they have this year they would probably have plenty of competition in any class.
