Jimmy Kimmel Banned From MNF

Featured Replies

He needed to added boo ya, en fuego, cool as the other side of the pillow or some other 2 cent punchline. ESPN doesn't understand what a real commentator/comedian sounds like since they only hire amateur acts that don't belong at a Chucky Cheese child birthday party. I could really care less about Kimmel, but this only further proofs what a high horse ESPN is living on.

On a related note, MNF has now been permanently spared the indignity of a Jimmy Kimmel appearance.

I thought Jimmy was great on Fox a few years ago when he did his guest spots. I loved when he wore the Bradshaw bald cap and talked like a hick. Classic...

You can't bring fun to the NFL or you will be banned or fined.

It might as well be the National Fine League.

I saw Kimmel on that MNF broadcast and thought he was hilarious. If you are going to invite a comedian to sit in the booth, then don't complain when he is funny.

I liked Kimmel's last line from the SI article:

"Whether I'm technically banned or whether Jay Rothman has the right to make that decision, let's put it this way: Jay Rothman is banned from my show."

They banned Jimmy Kimmel but they're still prone to making stupid decisions. The stars tonight on MNF are apparently going to be Russell Crowe and Steve Carell. Yep, MNF has become a late night talk show.
