What happened in the Lloyd vs. Holy Cross Game??

Final

I have no details.

Despite the final score, Holy Cross was pretty much in control the entire way. Indians have a decent team, but they need to listen to the coaching staff a little more and cut down on stupid penalties if they want success in the playoffs.

What do you mean "listen to the coaching staff more?"

They were being repremanded by the staff today for being out of position and chose to try and make excuses instead of just listening and doing it right.

Gotcha.

HC played a pretty good game today but they can't continue to make bone head decisions, the personal foul when a drive would have been over and 2 offsides penalties on third and one have to stop if they want any shot in the playoffs.

What happen to the French kid?

I'll say this again, again, and again, HC needs to get more of the playmakers involved. A QB and 2 RB's on EVERY play and run the SAME 3 plays every down will not get you many wins. Expecially against NCC, Beechwood, Ryle.

That is so correct, I am so tired of seeing an un-imaginative offense. HC has alot of talent on offense with Reardon and some good receivers. Reardon has played most of his HS career from the shotgun, yet Koz refuses to let him use it. Koz needs to do what Schneider at NCC did, let some of his more offensive minded coaches (coach Reardon - Cody's dad)) call the plays.

Read the "Everything a Rookie" thread and it will answer, any questions.

From reading the Enquirer's article it sounds like Lloyd really shot themselves in the foot with turnovers. Two INT's ran back for touches, 4 turnovers in the first quarter.

Lloyd needs to develope and offensive identity. One series they have the passing game working, next series, they've changed QB's and are trying the option attack. Series after that, a 3rd QB and trying a lot of counters and mis-direction plays.

The Juggs need to figure out which O works best and concentrate their efforts into fine tuning it.

Any comments?

They listen to their coaching staff, maybe the coaching staff should listen to the players when they suggest some plays. Six straight running plays is very predictable don't you think?
