October 3, 200719 yr This Friday kicks off Keenelands fall meet! I am really excited, I look forward to this every year! I will be attending this Saturday and Sunday, anyone else planning on going? This weekend is "FallStars weekend", there will be 9 stakes races worth 3.4 million dollars. Should be some great racing!
October 3, 200719 yr With the success of UK football and games such as LSU (definite) and UF (probable) being moved to earlier times for TV, Keeneland cannot be happy. I've even heard rumors of the Miss St. game being moved to the afternoon for the Lincoln Financial game.

I really doubt that Keeneland is going to lose alot of revenue because of the success of U.K. football. Its the best 3 weeks of racing each year. (besides Saratoga, maybe)
October 3, 200719 yr My favorite place to be in the Spring and Fall Meet at Keeneland. Can not go this weekend however hopefully the following. There is no place I'd rather be then at Keeneland in the Fall if it is not raining. Hope everyone has fun and good luck because I am jealous that you all are going. Had fun last week at Turfway Park for the big race's. JD

It will almost certainly affect Keeneland with the games being moved up. It also creates a traffic nightmare for those of us that go to the games and get off the parkway at Versailles Road.:irked:

Yea, the racing on Saturday is some of the best I have ever seen! Two Grade 1 races, a couple Grade 2 and Grade 3 races! Wow, should be a great day. (Lady Belsara is one of my favorite horses...)
