October 4, 200719 yr My son doesnt have any classes on wednesday and I was planning on taking him then. However, someone told me that Keeneland doesnt run one day during the week. Can anyone clear this up? What is the schedule? It would save me having to look it up or calling.

Keeneland runs this Fri-Sun, then after that it's on a Wed-Sun schedule until close on Breeder's Cup day Saturday, Oct. 27. The Kentucky circuit then shifts to Churchill for about a month before heading back up to Turfway for the freezer meet.
October 4, 200719 yr Looking forward to my first meet as a Lexington resident, cleared the schedule for tomorrow so I wouldn't miss opening day.

My son has never been and it has been years since I was there. Im really looking forward to it. Whether you are a gambler or not, the atomosphere is just something that has to be experienced.
October 4, 200719 yr I don't care if you bet on the horses or not, nothing beats the excitement when those ponies come around that final turn! It makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up!

Definitely with that longshot hitting in the 8th … I ended up hitting a nice lick when that Frankel horse (#10) scored in the 9th; sending me home a winner as opposed to in the hole.

I went up to Churchill after work yesterday morning to watch the stakes races (5-9) and ended up doubling up. That longshot in the 9th made for a very nice exacta.
