They will not compete this year , as GT said, and I do not think they will be a serious contender in the next 2 to 3 years. Rome wasn't built in a day, right? UC will return most of their team as well, and that's the year I think they are best suited to compete with them. At that point most of the D is gone, and I'm less convinced...

September 25, 200718 yr I think all 4 of these teams (UofL, UC, USF and WVU) will beat up on each other. I'm still not sold on Rutgers... So, I think UC could sneak in to the 2 spot... Not sure how you could include U of L and say you're not sold on Rutgers...:confused: I'm not sold on Rutgers either, but U of L's defense has been an embarassment and they have a home loss to the consensus worst team in the Big East. I'm definitely not sold on the Cardinals.
