All Play No Work
Can the Holy Cross defense keep Ryle from controlling the ball? Can Ryle avoid the turnovers and just pound the ball? Will either team complete 5 passes? And more importantly, should they both work on the pasing game if they want to go anywhere in the playoffs? Thoughts? cooperstown
I think Ryle will rebound strongly from the SK loss and take it to HC. I look for Ryle to run, run, and then run a bit more. I think it's pretty much a foregone conclusion at this point that they have no meaningful pass offense (I don't blame the players - the passing schemes are terrible). Ryle by 3 TD's. That being said, if they drop the football on the grass with the same frequency that they did against SK, they'll give HC the opening they need for an upset. :irked:
NCC06
Ryle will win this one by a couple TD's... HC cant throw the ball what so ever and they really cant run it that much better...

Why do they not have any semblance of a passing offense? All I read about earlier this year was that Ryle was going to a "new offense" this year and would be more balanced. I've yet to see it. As far as the game, I think if Ryle values the football they should win this one handily. If HC had difficulties moving the football against NCC I'd expect more of the same against the Raiders. Sportsfan34
Ryle will win this one by a couple TD's... HC cant throw the ball what so ever and they really cant run it that much better... Are you kidding me......HC can run the ball against any team that puts 8, 9, 10 guys in the box. Expecially against a good run defense that Ryle has. Look how well it worked against NCC. Who knows about their play calling.
Diamond Dandy
Would not want to be Holy Cross this Friday. I think the Raiders have something to prove to themselves. Raiders by 3 TD's.

RyleRAID34
Don't want to predict anything here - it's gut check time for some of the Raiders! They need to come ready to play and not just walk on the field.

cshs81
It appears that the HC O-line is struggling against strong teams. They've got a strong qb and they have some athletes. Why not think about spreading out the athletes and implementing a quick pass game? That way your o-line does not have to be as strong or hold blocks as long. What's the downside? Utilize the talent. No disrespect against Brossart, but teams like that you can run, run, run. Teams like NCC, Ryle, Beechwood, you have to be creative and spread the field. TRAGS
I agree with 4pointplay and Buddy776. Ryle will take a lot of frustation out on HC; Ryle will take this one by at least 25.
NEERFAN
HC played close to NCC, but I think Ryle wins this game by at least 4 scores.
