She took a calculated shot at Christians. I was offended and let FOX and ABC know about it. I did the same for the Sally Field comment and let the FCC know about that one and the allowing of that curse word more and more on the public airwaves.

 

If she had taken a calculated shot at African Americans and want to point out that no AA's had anything to do with her award and said the same thing about Martin Luther King, what would the response be?

I would say if a celebrity used the word to describe African Americans that is greatly offensive to them, they would be lamblasted for it. Think Don Imus. And yet, they can get on the air and do something as they have done about God and Jesus and Hollyweird celebrates them. People defend them. People think they are great. That should give you an idea of the mindset of so many in Hollyweird.

Last year during the Super Bowl win Tony Dungy had ample opportunity to praise God in such a forum and chose to do so. This woman had a similar forum that she received and chose to do the opposite. I might feel good about one and bad about the other but I think that's the nature of the American experiment and the Bill of Rights. I guess it's the Baptist roots in me.
