Penn State - They for real?

My favorite team in all of college football - Penn State - sits at 3-0 going to The Big House.

 

My question is do you guys think they are for real this year?

The last time Penn State started off 3-0 they went on to an 11-1 season and beating Florida State 26-23 in the Orange Bowl. They have looked pretty good so far, and IMO they will beat Michigan this week. Their three toughest games are all at home, against Iowa, Wisconsin, and Ohio State.

Notre Dame ( which of course most people won't think is a "good team").

 

They have scored 135 points while just giving up 34.

Sorry sorry sorry sorry. Beating them 31-10 isn't to bad though. I guess they have played a bunch of Alice Lloyd's too :thumb:

I've been a Joe Pa fan since 1968 but I don't think that anyone knows how good they are because of their early schedule. I hope they are for real.

I commented in another thread, that I think they have a chance, to really surprise many this year. If they catch a few breaks here and there, they can be top 5, late in the season.

I agree, a person has to love Paterno and how he always has ran his program. Class all the way. :thumb:

I had my doubts about the Buckeyes but after the Washington game I think that they will finish either 1st or 2nd in the Big 10 with Penn State being the other.

I wouldn't count Wisconsin out or Michigan along with those two for that matter. Imo they will be factor.

I definitely think they will be the most important factors in who wins it but I don't think that either of them will.

Michigan will beat them this weekend ending all hopes of a major bowl for Pa. State(I HOPE)
