Gallatin Co. 29 Trimble Co. 8

Featured Replies

If the Wildcats win out in the rest of the district games they can be the #2 seed. This is a big win. Congrats.

Can anyone give a little info on the game. How it went down.

FLAGS, FLAGS and more FLAGS.

Congrats to the wildcats.

As far as the plenties, the officals did not know who to call it on, as they did not know what they were doing all night long. It is ashamed that some officals come into a game with a chip against a team.

Again the Raiders out gain a team in yards and lose. Too many flags and fumbles in the red zone.

Did the Trimble team or coaches do something to the officials?

At 29-8 I can't believe it was all the officials fault.

Please explain???

Just got word that Carlton's official total was 282 yards.

This must be his all purpose yard total. His rushing total was around 188 yds.

Carlton is a fine player. :thumb:

No it wasn't all purpose. His totals were 21 carries for 282 yards.

Our on the field stat person had him for 235 yds. I just went through the film and had him with 227. However, Coach Browning is a class act and I will agree with whatever he says that he had. :thumb:

He had to have over 200, because he had TD runs of 21,34,80,and 24 for 159 yards and I know he had one run for sround 40-50 yards that he did not score on so those 5 carries alone put him over 200. I had oraginally put 188 because I heard that on the radio broadcast but that number is way off.

Congratulations to the Wildcats. You showed up ready to play and deserved the win.

We hope, one way or another, to get a rematch in the playoffs.

I think you may get your wish.

Congratulations to a program that has come a long way in a short period of time. Great job players & staff !

Congrats to the wildcats.

As I know from a very, very reliable source, the refs did not have chip on their shoulder towards Trimble. My source did nothing but brag about the way they were treated by the Trimble Co. personel.

The way I see it is if they are throwing flags then something is being done illegally. Quit blaming officials and man up. The better team wins regardless of what happens. From my source the flags went both ways.

Let me say TBG, that you are a class act! I appreciate you not being negative and for giving the Gallatin kids their props!!

I also hope it works out that there is a rematch. That would be a fun game if it happens!! I'll still take my Cats in that one because they are playing that one at home if it plays out like I think it will.

The officials certainly were treated well by the TC personnel. However, it was clear from a the JV game on Monday that one official had "issues". There were several VERY questionable calls, but that is not the reason the Raiders lost.

The team that played better did win.

Congrats to the wildcats.

I know some of these officials personally and I can tell you they are a class act. :irked:
