It was a hard fought game. Woodford has some really FAST kids. Montgomery just couldn't get over the hump. Too many turnovers and they let Woodford get too much pressure on Curtis. Two big interceptions by 10 from Woodford sealed the game. Montgomery is still light years ahead of where they have been over most of the past decade. Hold your heads high boys - you played your hearts out - again.

How was the passing game this week for Woodford Co? Woodford does indeed have alot of speed, but Montgomery seems to as well. Great game by both teams, and I agree, Montgomery has nothing to be ashamed of here, this team is not the doormat of their district any longer.

They struggled in the first half with some dropped balls - and some solid MC defense. In the 2nd half they started moving the ball up and down the field.

Montgomery played very well. They did seem to get tired and had some trouble making open field tackles late in the game. Woodford threw alot of slip screens and MC had trouble in the open field. Kaleb Curtis is a warrior and the entire team feeds off of his energy. Montgomery County is moving in the right direction. Coach Gooch and his staff have done a wonderful job.
