September 2, 200719 yr Cleveland could get rid of Dorsey and Anderson and bring Leftwich in. I think I'd rather take my chances with Quinn rather than Leftwich.
September 2, 200719 yr I think I'd rather take my chances with Quinn rather than Leftwich. I never said get rid of Quinn. Keep Quinn and bring Leftwich in and get rid of Dorsey or Anderson. Make the compeition for the starting QB spot a little more tougher. PLaying against better compeition for Quinn and Anderson can only help them.

September 2, 200719 yr Leftwich may not have a job for awhile. I can't think of any team that would be in need of him at this point.
September 2, 200719 yr But why pay for Leftwich which would be more costly then keeping Dorsey and Anderson? Because the Browns need to spend money to be successful and this could be chance to show the fans that they are committed to doing so.
September 3, 200719 yr I expect to see him as a Bear. I actually would not be surprised to see that happen.
September 3, 200719 yr Because the Browns need to spend money to be successful and this could be chance to show the fans that they are committed to doing so. That move makes no sense though. Why spend money on another QB when you already have a lot into Quinn? Makes no sense, if you want to spend money on a position spend it on some defense. Leftwich is not that good! The Browns do not need him and it would be dumb for them to go after him!

Because Quinn hasnt shown he can do anything yet. Granted he hasnt been in one official game yet but to bring Leftwich in and left him teach Quinn is better off than Dorsey or Anderson. I agree that I wouldnt pay him outrageous money but he is a step up in talent over anything else we have at this point.
September 3, 200719 yr The Browns aren't about to sign Leftwich for competition. The Browns traded picks to get Brady, no way they put extra pressure on him, plus take on salary.
