Woodson IMO is getting some great preseason credit. Good for him I think he deserves it. As for being voted the Heisman favorite, I dont know about that, but I don't really see a reason to get so upset over it.

Because 55,000 people don't see it the same as some others it can't be right.

The guy is pointing out a NATIONAL poll. BGP didn't stage a raid and skew the results. Obviously thats not likely to be how the actual voting turns out, but the smilie in the OP indicated he knew that.

Its a random internet fan poll and you guys are acting like its insulting to your mothers.

 

Nobody really thinks Woodson is the #1 Heisman candidate. That poll doesn't mean crap and nobody is saying otherwise. Why must EVERY UK post immediately draw stupid comments from UofL fans?

 

Remember the UofL baseball threads when all the UK fans were in there applauding the Cards? That sure doesn't seem to work the other way.

But Arkansas, USC, UL, and WVU fans aren't voting for their guy. I think those schools have a much bigger football following than UK which leads me to believe people outside of KY are voting for him.

 

I like Woodson and I'm glad he's getting the recognition, but he would need a tremendous season to be in the running.

If you look at the count Habib, Louisville fans have done the same thing. The issue is that these internet polls are far from scientific. I know for a fact that one of the UK forums has people bragging about how many times they voted for Woodson. UK fans should be glad that he made the list, the fact that he has gotten so many votes is strictly due to UK voting.

The hatred by Louisville fans has really came out recently in regards to Woodson. For the most part most people think Brohm is the better QB. And I think it is arguable both ways. I dont see much of a difference in either 1 of them. But the very second someone thinks Woodson maybe better than Brohm the UL fans throw a fit.

Very few UK fans do that when people put Brohm as say the projected #1 pick.

I don't know what I'm more suprised by.....the fact that Woodson is leading the poll, or the fact that posters on here decided to get into an arguement over it. Either way, keep it up, it's entertaining.:thumb:

I think I saw a thread on this once before, in terms of comparing Brohm and Woodson, their numbers aren't THAT different are they? I mean, yes, one may have more TD's but the other has more yards, etc...

Andre has already recieved over 1 million votes and it is all crazy UK fans?!? I am sure UK fans have impacted the voting slightly, ... but I just think that some of the pub Woodson and Brohm are getting are helping them as much as anything. Corso said he would take Brohm #1 and Woodson #2 if he were drafting today. Pub like that helps others outside KY hear more about these kids.

 

As far as Andre winning the Heisman, ... no, it probably won't happen. But what's wrong with giving the kid a little love?
