what about mound care? Do you use clay bricks? How about the batters box.

They also park cars on theirs, or at least they have the last few years. That is really sad!!

Bracken county high school,7&8th grade and 5&6th grade all use the baseball field and they all have practice at the same time.:laugh:

at BC the high school also uses the baseball field. it does get a little crowded at times.

I will say the Florence Freedom normally will do these things:

 

Infield Clay -I nail drug it the other day.

Grass - Cut for a few weeks after the season and then it gets overseeded with rye grass and fertilized.

Mound/Home - currently uncovered

Banners/Signs - leave them on fence

Bases - plug

Sprinkler - set on timer. will turn off after the overseed and fertilization has been watered for awhile and when it gets cold.

It's getting better, though. The field could be very nice... grass infield. Played a few times on it in the summer in benefit softball tournamnets.
