CovCath/Roger Bacon, OH Scrimmage

A couple of things I forgot to mention:

1. Andy Schulte is a man at the center position. He is blowing people up.

2. How about that huge TE for Bacon?

Who were the starters on OLine?

Good question. All the talk about quarterbacks and running backs means nothing without an O-line. I did hear there were 2 defensive guys moved to O-line after the Ryle scrimmage. Is that true?

The anchor and potentially the best o-lineman in NKY is C Andy Schulte. He is killing d-linemen.

I'd guess you'll see Tepe in there. Maybe the big kid from Campbell County (Schadler?). After that, I really don't know since they didn't wear numbers when I watched them.

They are the KEY to this team's success.

The wide reciever was senior Jake Punch, He was great last year on j.v. He played behind Pete Sutton so you didn't see much of him last year.

One more area of concern was the kicking game going into this year. I thought the kickoff man had very good distance and hang time. He just needs to keep it in bounds. Did not get to see him kick field goals, but looked okay on PATs. Kind of hard to follow in Shane Popham's foot steps. I've seen two different punters. Do not know names, but the smaller guy did not seem to get much hang time, but did get a decent roll. Once again, hard to follow Josh Bleser.

I believe the smaller guy was Shouse and the bigger guy was Isler.

The #1 returning kicker decided to forgo football this year. Too bad. He had a very nice leg.
