I am not talking about legal issues Rockmom, I am talking about on and off the field disciplinary issues. Ie, the fight and suspension against North Hardin... etc..

To me that rule is grey, and I would think that since he is now 18 it would be OK...being that it has been done on here in the past. Either way, I don't care what JuJuan did in high school, I am worried about the future.

Trust me, the rule isn't grey. If anyone discusses an incident that occured prior to him turning 18, it is a violation. That's the rules.

Do whatever needs to be done to punish him and get him straightened out. There is absolutely no need for Spillman, or ANYONE for that matter to be a fool.

1) JaJuan's arrest was in the CJ and on local TV the day after it happened. There was no cover up. You can do an archive search in the CJ and see that.

 

2) JaJuan is second on the depth chart to Harry Douglas. Kragthorpe only lists two WR positions for the depth chart (X and Z) whereas Petrino would list three AND a TE AND a RB AND a FB (For a total of 12 offensive starters, as you can see.)

 

3) That said, he's not so important that he couldn't be cut loose and UofL close ranks. That team is ungodly deep at WR, and JaJuan's place could be taken without a hiccup by shuttling Scott Long and Trent Guy in his place.

 

4) Given Kragthorpe's alrteady established track record of cutting guys with discipline issues, there must've been some mitigating circustances for Spillman to still have a place on the team. However he handles it, even if it's internal and we never know, I'll back Kragthorpe's decision. He's earned that trust from me with how he's handled other guys just as high as JaJuan on the 2-deep.
