Hilary is an enabler. Plain and simple. She, throughout his Presidency, made excuses for his actions, mostly blaming others for his actions. Even trying to sell us the idea that the affairs were concoctions of the right wing.

 

But for argument sake, let's say that Monica was a right wing plant. Could Bill still said, I don't know, NO, I AM MARRIED!!!!!! Whether she was or was not is irrelevent. He did it and she blamed a right wing conspiracy.

I listened to an interview with Josh Hamilton yesterday about his faith in Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior and he said something that covers it.

We'll never know, most likely. But, I'm not willing to assume anything in a situation as complicated as a woman finding out her husband's a cheater. You want to cast stones, go right ahead. To you, it seems a simple matter, but trust me...there are no simple matters when you find out your husband's been cheating on you.

Don't have a husband who has done that.

 

Have had a sister that has been through it.

Have had another close family member who has been through it.

So while it is not personal, it is close.

 

And I am not casting stones in any way shape or form on her decision to stay with Bill. As a Christian, I applaud that decision to try and work it out.

 

My problem is her defense of her husband and saying it is ALL those women lying about him, calling them out on national television, THEN finding out her husband is a liar and what they were saying was true, and never feeling the need to go back on national television and tell those of us who are labeled as right wing that it wasn't about US lying but her husband lying.

 

She had the guts to stand up there and say what horrible people were on the right wing to do this to her poor innocent little husband but not the guts to stand up there and say she was wrong about the right wing.

 

She does that and my opinion on her would change.

 

And casting stones is about a person's eternal judgement not a worldly judgement. This is not an eternal judgement that we are discussing here.

I support a woman who will try to save her marriage. I don't think my wife would divorce me if I strayed but would find widowhood an attractive option.

 

I don't think we can judge Hillary on this one issue. It's impossible to know what her motives are. Besides, it's Hillary. There are plenty of issues to judge her on. I will admit I have a higher opinion of her than when her campaign first started.

AT.....take a chill pill. What Clinton did was wrong, but to the point that it is brought up by you guys every week on BGP and right wing talk without mentioning Newt or Rudy or any number of immoral religious right type gets old. Those attacking Clinton do not have clean hands.

Last time I checked neither Newt nor the Rev. Haggard were running for President.
