August 7, 200719 yr Isn't his deal a little high for a 22nd pick? As I mentioned in the other thread, neither BQ or his agent looked at him as a 22nd pick. They looked at the negotiations as being between a team that desperately needs a qb and , right or wrong to be determined later, one of the elite qbs in the draft. BQ, again as I said earlier, had all of the leverage, thus, the bigger than usual contract for the 22nd pick.

I dunno, they mentioned about him already missing 10 days of camp and being behind on the offense, and it being too much to catch up on in order to be the season starter. But who knows, anything could happen. Frye or Anderson could get hurt or anything. Have to wait and see I guess.
August 7, 200719 yr It is about time! I am glad to see him signed but I have to say that Quinn and others who hold and have held out in past seasons in their rookie season really get to me :mad: . These guys have not played 1 down of NFL football, they are living a dream that only a small fraction of athletes get to experience and they are holding out of camp for more money. Prove that you are worth the money and then talk more $$$ contracts :irked: . O.K., I have vented now...........
