They've been a pretty strong program over the past decade or so, and with the recent win over Oklahoma in a BCS game, they would seem like an ideal replacement. I know that's a little off topic, but it seems like a pretty strong possibility if the Big Ten raids the Big 12.

Boise State would probably be their #1 target, although I'd think Nevada would get some consideration as well.

I would imagine TCU would get the call if the Big XII lost someone. The Horned Frogs were very upset when they didn't get the original invite (politics got Baylor in) and I'd say the Texas-brass (who seem to run the conference anyway) would get TCU in this time around.
August 2, 200719 yr My guess and that is all any of these are would be Missou, Iowa State or maybe Pitt. I kind of doubt Pitt though, just a thought and imo they would be a longshot. I kind of thought Missouri would make the most sense. Iowa State would jump at the chance, but I can't see them adding much to the conference...they're annually weak in football and basketball is struggling to tread water as well. I think Pittsburgh would stay in the Big East. They seem to be an "eastern" team and I can't see them changing.
