August 3, 200719 yr If he is using roids he needs to quit. This 0-17 slump with 5 strikeouts will speak out agianst the juice. He was 2-5 yesterday and squared up on a couple of more balls. IMO, he'll hit 500 tonight...
August 3, 200719 yr Not including 1994-1995 where he hit only 5 combined homers in 65 games, because you can not really count rookie and sophomore years for a young player like he was when he came up. 1996- 36 1997- 23 1998- 42 1999- 42 2000- 41 2001- 52 2002- 57 2003- 47 2004- 36 2005- 48 2006- 35 2007- 35 so far No big jump like Bonds from 49 to 73. No signs in appearance or numbers that suggest steroid user. That really dont mean anything at all. I mean the first guy to get caught using steroids once the new program was in place was a guy that you wouldn't think by looking at him and his numbers he was on steroids. Arod very easily could be using steroids. I mean if he go by those numbers he was hitting alot more homeruns than most shortstops was when he played there and usually they dont hit many because of the wear and tear at short. Yet he was different and able to keep his homeruns up high. I think there is no reason not to think that he might have been using steroids...

The guys who used steroids and then stopped suddenly started having bad years- A-Rod has been consistent over the years. Maybe Canseco will say something about him eating too much junk food or something...
