Wow, has the U.S. dropped this low in talent? And we haven't played the top teams yet. :eek: :irked:

Kinda shocked, but the other teams play a lot more together.

Are we even putting our best possible team out there anymore?

Won't be long before all the Lofton supporters be on here saying they told everybody they were right.

Hate to tell you boys, but the women won Gold, and Angel McCoughtry, of UL, was on the team.

I'm sure it means something to the kids and coaches, I don't want to say they don't care.

 

But aside from a basketball fanatic or a true sports fan, does anyone truly know and/or care about what the US team is doing in the Pan Am games?

 

I consider myself a decent sports fan and I couldn't tell you who made the team or when the games started.

I guess its all because Loftons not on the team

They haven't won gold since 1983.

2007-??-Though it sounds like we are going to continue our HOT streak. :lol:

When the arguement came up about the coaches not picking Lofton, alot of posters said the coaches had to know something about the game of basketball and that Lofton didn't do well in tryouts. They are now 0-2. WOW!

The fact that they are 0-2 has nothing to do with Lofton not making the team.

I agree, I wish that Lofton would have been on the team as well but to say they are losing bc he is not on the team is way off.
