July 26, 200719 yr I don't worry about bye weeks. I don't understand the logic of drafting a lesser talent just because their bye week falls on a different week than someone else. It's better to have the best talent for 15 weeks, then have a lesser talent for essentially 1 week.

Well not only that, if you don't have one of the top 3 D you might as well just pick up each week the FA D that has the best matchups, same reason I took Heap earlier than he should have been taken, not having another pick for 26 picks made me take them higher than I would have normally wanted.

Good reasoning. I strongly considered taking them instead of Deion Branch. Ultimately though, I didn't think defensive scoring is emphasized enough in our league to make the pick there.
