July 26, 200719 yr Let's all hope he doesn't look like Oden did his Freshman year in college. Do mean his looks or his playing.
August 2, 200719 yr He verbaled to Maryland tonight... Ah well, some players have to learn the hard way, UK is where it's at.
August 2, 200719 yr This kid is from Durham N.C and doesn't have Duke, NC, or Wake on his list? That's a little strange. It shows he is intelligent also.
August 2, 200719 yr UK lost out on him, the big Polish kid, and Zeller all in the same day.....Not a good day for Coach G.
August 2, 200719 yr UK lost out on him, the big Polish kid, and Zeller all in the same day.....Not a good day for Coach G. Where did they all commit?
August 2, 200719 yr ^The Polish kid trimmed his list to 3 schools, Duke, Florida, and UofL I believe. Zeller is supposed to trim his list to 4, and it is believed that UK will not be one of those 4, so I guess Zeller could still be a possibility, but not likely.
August 2, 200719 yr Do you think Patrick Patterson will only stay for one year at UK and then leave for the NBA draft
August 3, 200719 yr UK lost out on him, the big Polish kid, and Zeller all in the same day.....Not a good day for Coach G. Win a few and lose a few, I am not worried about Billy Clyde's recruiting. I believe that we will certainly get our share of the good ones. Gillispie is relentless in recruiting.
August 3, 200719 yr Do you think Patrick Patterson will only stay for one year at UK and then leave for the NBA draft Two years. He isn't as lazy as Morris so he will go a year faster.
August 4, 200719 yr Your right Gillispie is a great recruiter. He is much better than tubby was when he was here.
August 5, 200719 yr Your right Gillispie is a great recruiter. He is much better than tubby was when he was here. Only problem is Coach G needs to prove himself. He has with guards (Acie Law) but he needs to show big guys they also can shine in his system. If he had played one year with Deandre Jordan it would have helped us with our last few missed recruits... all big guys. We will be just fine.

Only problem was he kept getting ones that needed it, rather than ones he could just make better, and not make a project out of. I'm happy for the years with Tubby, but I'm also excited for thsoe ahead.
