Featured Replies

Rivals reported yesterday that 5 star PF and 17th ranked player in the 08 class Terrance Jennings now list his top 3 as UK, Maryland, and Washington. Pretty big suprise to a lot of people since he really hasnt been mentioned with UK before.

No one from UK staff was there to watch the game... Coach G needs to jump on him like stink on doo doo...

I certainly would like to see a commitment from a big man. How big is this guy?

6'10... 225Wt

Thanks! :thumb:

LAS VEGAS - Tuesday was the third day of action in the three big tournaments in Vegas. Five-star prospect Terrence Jennings was all over the rim in his afternoon game and also gave Rivals.com a surprising top three school list.

Just prior to scoring 18 points on 9-13 shooting in a 58-56 win over East Coast Fusion, Jennings said he has a top three list of Kentucky, Maryland and Washington. Kentucky wasn't seen in the gym watching him, but Gary Williams along with two assistants and an assistant from Washington were at the game. [db]Jim Calhoun[/db], Billy Donovan, Bruce Pearl, Kevin Stallings and Mark Fox were also taking in the action.

5 star and ranked 17th, must be a heck of a class.

This kid is from Durham N.C and doesn't have Duke, NC, or Wake on his list? That's a little strange.

The top 25 are 5 stars from every class.

I didn't know how that worked, thanks.

The school he goes to is a prep school in Durham so he may not actually be from that area but Im not sure where he is really from.

That may explain it then.

From Scouts:

Originally a member of the Class of 2006. Native of California. Enrolled at Charis Prep as a post grad then transferred to Mount Zion and made his way into the Class of 2008. Big kid who can block shots and be a defensive presence. Finishes strong inside and he's got a body the college strength coaches would love to get their hands on.

If he was originally an 06 kid, then by the time he gets to college, he'll have to be like 20 yrs old, the same age as most college Jrs.. If thats the case, then he should be mature enough to make an immediate impact, but, could also very well be a 1 and done player...

Let's all hope he doesn't look like Oden did his Freshman year in college.
