August 5, 200719 yr Singleton is a better fit than Zellar and Jennings IMO. People put to much emphasis on how many stars are beside their name. Singleton can get up and down the floor and would be a perfect fit. This is the guy UK needs. He re-opened his recruitment, so UK now has a legit chance. Although I hear UNC is going after him pretty hard.

Not trying to pick on you cfan03, but this is the typical UK fan response when they lose out on a player...."We didn't need him", "Player XYZ is better anyways.", We never wanted him."...... Jennings and Zeller are two studs who would have definitely helped and fit into any type of system Coach G. decides to use. Singleton is a great backup plan, but Zeller in particular was the primary target for a reason.
August 5, 200719 yr Another thing to remember I think coach G is going to keep it a very guard oritented team... but good guards. I am sure he will get a big man every now and then but if hes putting 2-3 blue chip guards on the floor at a time we will be fine.
August 5, 200719 yr Two years. He isn't as lazy as Morris so he will go a year faster. He may not be "lazy" but I have a feeling his game is much rawer than Dolph's.

August 6, 200719 yr I understand that because I recognize that a lot myself. But generally I am not like that. I would rather have Czyz than any of them but that obviously didn't work out. I havent heard great things about Jennings, and you hear nothing but great things about Singleton.
