The Kings finish the Lance Moore Tourney with a 4-1 record, improving their over all record to 25 - 5 which is the best in N KY. They run ruled US Athletic 9 - 1 and Lombard Lightning 12 - 0 to complete the tournament yesterday, with Tray Lanear throwing a 1 hitter against Lombard.

Nope...I'll see if I can get it off the line up card tomorrow. He was by far the best we have seen this summer.

Any word on the kid's name?

Does anyone know if the Kings have a website and they pick their team?

They do not have a web site as far as I know. They usualy approach a prospective player directly although they do have tryouts in August of each year. They run an add in the Enquirer, but I will post tryout dates on BGP when they are announced. Playing for Bobby Mullins is a great experience for a young man and every one of his players has had contacts and opportunites from a number of colleges and universities.

Thanks, Do you know about any of the other NKY teams. I am a upcoming Junior from Carroll County and I'm interested in trying out for a traveling team.

In Northern Kentucky:

Kentucky Kings - Bobby Mullins

Walt Terrel - Kentucky Colernels

Rob Sanders - Bluegrass

Kentucky Royals - forgot the coaches name, nice guy. Used to be NKU's shortstop.

Thanks for all of the contacts. Does anyone have their email addresses or websites if they have any.

Kings beat the Cinti Stix tonight at TMC to extend their record to 26 - 5.

Bobby pitched just about everyone at least one inning to get them tuned up for the University of Kentucky tournament. Also moved players all around the field all night. Pat Allen had the big hit, a 3 run homer to right center.

The Kings will be at UK and Tranny Thursday thru Sunday.

Forgot to mention Tray Lanear's homer.

Anyone have a schedule of the tournament at UK and Transy this week? Would like to see a schedule in case I get to see some of the games.

Come on out and watch some good baseball.

The Kings sweep the double header today at UK run ruling the Evansville Wolfpack 13 - 1 in 4 innings and defeating the Diamond Stars 10-6.

Tray Lanear got the first win, throwing a 3 hitter with help from Joe Sullivan who went yard while lots of other Kings chipped in with sindles and doubles.

T C Wetherington got the second wind. Fun day as most players moved around the field and played multiple infield and outfield positions, and did it very well. Without a doubt some of the best tallent in the tri-state.

Kings run their record to 31 & 5, tops in Northern Kentucky.

Kings split a poorly scheduled DH today at UK. Lost the first to the Indiana Bulls in the 9:00AM game and Beat the Tenn Tornadoes 8-4 in the 5:00 PM game. Record now at 32 & 6.

The Kings were on the Midland schedule for Friday. Was that an error or did it get changed?
