Does anyone know of a 15U travel team that may need a late season pick up player. Great player, needs a good team. WOuld commit to fall league as well. Central Ky preferably. But would travel more if need be.

Kings win the KY BEARCATS WOOD BAT CLASSIC at Western Kentucky University. Last home game at TMC tomorrow, then an afternoon game at Applebee's in Lexington, then it's off to Nashville for the Sandlot World Series to complete the season.

I think the Kings current record stands at 37 - 10. Have to check, but I know that's the best record in Northern Kentucky this year.

Think it was 3 & 1 in a round robin. They beat a Legion team from Shelby Co, TN, The Blasters from Chatanooga, the host team, KY Bearcats and the loss was to a team from NKY that I haven't heard of. They sat Wags and Sully and Jefffery's in that game and we didn't hit very well.

Kings win again last night 11-2 against a team from Grant Co. Strange to see Wags behind the plate, Muensch at short and Cross at second, but they did a good job and had some fun with it. They play today at 2:00 at Applebee's Park vrs. KY Baseball Club and off to Nashville. Record now at 38 & 10, still the best in Northern Kentucky.

I was told that in that Western Tourny the team they lost to was a local team called Cutter Construction who is a 17u team.

Could be...the only players I,ve ever heard of were Kramer, Brossarts catcher and Woodruff(sp) one of Campbells Ace's. Thought they both graduated. Coach might want to check those birth certificates. LOL

Woodruff will be a senior. Kramer is a younger senior who graduated. The pitcher who beat the Kings is Tyler Verst, from Brossart. The players, off the top of my head, are...

Tryouts for the Ky Kings 17-18 year old teams will be held August 18 & 19 at Thomas More College. Times are, Saturday the 18th at 10:00 am and Sunday the 19th at 1:00 pm.

The 07 Kings 18U team posted a 38 - 10 record, best in Northern Kentucky.

They beat All the other Northern Kentucky teams and the majority of their Ohio opponents. Although they will loose a lot of players, they return a few tallented younger players from the 18U team and will bring up players from the 16U / 17U team. If your looking for a team with great coaching and great opportunities to play top notch compition, go show off your skills for Bobby Mullins and Marty Conner. I know we enjoyed our couple of years there.

Usually both days but if you need to miss one and talk it over with them you may be able to work something out.
