Danville/Beechwood-Highlands/Boyle Co. Bowl Game?

Featured Replies

Understand but the thread is Beechwood/Danville not NCC/Danville. I think AAdmiral was trying to put 4 power house, consistent programs against each other.

It really wouldn't matter to me.One-I have nothing but respect for both of those schools.Two-Like someone said a few post back Danville and NCC can meet again in 2A.

You guys up in Northern Ky need to realize that the rest of the State Looks at Cov,Newport and every other town within a 30 mile radius as one big city/The City of Northern KY.;)

Some out there think it already is.

But that's a whole other kettle o' fish, and we'd better get the thread back on topic. :thumb:

Just a few years ago Highlands,Danville and Boyle Co were playing each other in the regular season.I wish they would get it back on Schedule.I know when you live in Danville and Highlands is coming to town you know that one of the best Football Programs in the state is coming to play in your backyard.

I think everybody loves a showdown.:thumb:

Yea it would be just great when they came to town but then we'd have to turn around and go to their house - and you know what you hear about "those" people up there;)

Teams in northern Kentucky would much rather play a southern team vs playing an Ohio school. Bragging rights for the state are on the line and the players get pumped for these contests.

Playing in Ohio and Ohio playing in Kentucky just does'nt seem right... like oil 'n water. The fan turnout for the Ohio/Kentucky matchups are low with the exception of the Paul Brown and Nippert Stadium football games.

I'm in!

I was traveling in northern kentucky last week on I 75 and I believe it was one exit north of Buttermilk pike (dixie) there was a football field on your right. Is that Beechwood's?

That's Beechwood. Home of the Tigers of tailgate city... I-75 South @ 7:45 AM.

Wouldn't that be 75 North at that time of day? Or is South just as bad?

In the 90's, the "Big Dipper," a radio announcer in Hazard referred to NKY as the "Terrible Triangle!" That is what he called Beechwood, CCH and Highlands!
