saint4
Ken Griffey Jr. Craig Biggio Derek Jeter Alex Rodriguez Randy Johnson Roger Clemens Greg Maddox Tom Glavine Gary Sheffield (500 home runs) Manny Rameriz Sammy Sosa Frank Thomas Albert Pujols Jim Edmonds John Smoltz Mike Piazza Curt Shilling Trevor Hoffman Mariano Rivera A long list, and maybe all of these won't, but they probably should. UKMustangFan
^Smoltz and Edmonds are the only two that aren't locks on that list, though both still probably make it IMO.

AverageJoesGym
Manny, doesn't play hard on defense and to me, doesn't respect the game. If you can't give a decent effort, running out a groundball, going after a ball over your head, than your not a HOF to me. More to HOF, than stats. There's a difference in not being good on defense and not trying on defense. Manny goes after balls hard, he's just prone to butchering them at times although he does play The Monster very well. No one works harder at hitting than him. He's one of the first people at the ballpark every day and he's very much respected by his teammates, coaches and other players. Plus he's never been disrespectful to the sportswriters that do the voting. Sure he's a nut but he helps his team win while piling up massive numbers. He'll be a first ballot HOF. You may not like it but its a certainty.
